About Mouse Trail
Mouse Trail is an interactive particles effect. A stream of colourful particles chases the pointer and fades out; when idle, the pointer roams on its own along a smooth path. Move your mouse to interact with thousands of particles in real-time. Each particle is individually simulated with physics-based motion for organic, ever-changing patterns. This effect runs directly in your browser using HTML5 Canvas, with no downloads or plugins required.
How to Interact
Move your mouse to interact with the particle system. Particles respond to cursor position with attraction, repulsion, or scattering effects. Click to trigger special particle behaviors and bursts.
Technical Details
Rendered on HTML5 Canvas with custom particle physics. Each particle is individually simulated with position, velocity, and lifecycle tracking. Uses an efficient requestAnimationFrame loop for smooth 60fps animation.
