About Scanlines

Scanlines is an interactive glitch & retro effect. Fine scanlines cover the whole frame while a bright band sweeps downward on a loop, echoing oscilloscopes and CCTV monitors, with switchable tints. Adjust distortion parameters for authentic retro digital aesthetics. The effect simulates CRT displays, VHS tapes, and digital signal corruption for nostalgic visual styling. This effect runs directly in your browser using HTML5 Canvas, with no downloads or plugins required.

How to Interact

Adjust parameters to control glitch intensity, scanline density, color shift, and distortion levels. Move your mouse for real-time interactive distortion effects and visual artifacts.
